Coming of the Virgin of Loreto (Play and procession)
This is a play to represent the coming of the Virgin of Loreto (Virgen de Loreto), which is the patron of Santa Pola.
After the play the Virgin will be acompanied by the crowd with torches to her chapel in the Castle.
Rock & Pola Festival – 2019 Santa Pola
Rock’n Pola is a rock festival organized by Barrock association and Santa Pola city council.
During two days you can enjoy local and nearby rock bands.
Trecking night Santa Pola
1- Non-competitive character test, popular hiking route for all people. Advisable children from 9/10 years.
2- Event to be held on Saturday July 13, 2019. The output will be at 21.30 from the Castle-Fortress of Santa Pola. All registered persons must be at 9:00 pm at the Castle.
3- The duration of the route will be approximately 4.30 / 5 hours, it will have a distance of approx. of 12 km.
4- The organization will not differentiate any type of group and will go throughout the course at the pace set by the organizers of the event.
5- Each participant must wear essential clothing and shoes, picnic dinner, water, as well as individual lanterns.
6- Upon arrival at the Lighthouse viewpoint, participants will have the possibility to enjoy a picnic dinner.
7- The organization will prepare a granizado for each participant at the end of the route upon arrival at Castillo-Fortaleza.
8- The organization has a Civil Liability and accidents insurance, as well as specialized monitors in events of these characteristics.
9- The price of the activity:
A) Advance sale on the 5th and 12th of July at the Silvia Martínez de Santa Pola Pavilion from 7.30 to 8.30pm.

10- The organization limits the capacity of the event to 250 people.
11- The registration will be considered completed when the payment has been made. The first 250 people who make the registration detailing the full name and making the corresponding payment will be assured their place in the event.

Santa Pola Pride #Orgullosantapola
This is the forth edition of “Santa Pola Pride” to celebrate gender diversity in the International LGTBIQ Pride day.
Times:
19:30 h. banner workshop (El Palmeral).
20:30 h. Parade with batukada, dance and music, departing from El Palmeral towards Plaza de la Constitución.
21:30 h. Speech & Performance. Plaza Constitución

Romeria del Cap – Serenade
- 20:00 h Welcoming the audience by the Virgin of Rosary chapel.
- 20:30 h Serenade to Virgin of Rosary begins. The Virgin of Rosary will come from the chapel to the stage with the first song by the choir Los Romeros.
- Flower offering to the Virgin, organized by Hermandad de la Virgen del Rosario.

After the Serenade, there will be a brotherhood dinner where each one will bring their food. During the dinner there will be traditional songs.
Romeria Del Cap is a pilgrimage, in honor to the Virgin of Rosary, going from Santa Pola Assumption church to the hermitage placed close to Santa Pola’s Cape.
It’s name, “Romeria del Cap”, comes from the Valencian language and makes reference to the place where it is celebrated, Santa Pola’s Cape or originally “Cap de l’aljub”.
The pilgrimage has celebrated since early years in 20th century, the Sunday closest to Saint John’s day, the 24th june.
It is an opportunity to worship the Virgin and to enjoy a fantastic family day in an incomparable environment, though the hermitage is close to the beach and also close to the mountains.
Romeria del Cap
- 06:30 h Meeting in Nuestra Señora de la Asunción church to collect the pilgrim stick canes.
- 06:45 h In the church the choir Los Romeros will sing to Virgin of Rosary the traditional pilgrimage jotas.
- 07:00 h Strong firecrackers will announce the start of the pilgrimage from the church going to the chapel. Most of the route is along the seaside and it is a unique experience to enjoy of the first sunlights of the day having as background the view of Tabarca island. Midway, in The Chain, there will be a logistic stop where fresh fruit and water will be provided.
- 10:00 h Service with Holy Communion by the chapel. Choir Los Romeros will be singing in the service.
- After the service and until 18 h, chairs and tables can be borrowed in the shed to enjoy a beach day. Please bring your traditional lunch.
Note to persons with restricted mobility
There will be a FREE BUS for people with restricted mobility to go to the chapel. It will leave 08:00 h departing from Avenida Fernando Pérez Ojeda and coming back 13:30 h.
